The paramount requirement for WURO is quality and safety. Particularly in the development of insulated safety tools like our VDE screwdrivers. We check our products in compliance with the strictest criteria. This results in excellent characteristics like:

  • certified production in accordance with IEC 60900:2004
  • authorisation for work up to 1,500 volts (DC) or 1,000 volts (AC)
  • testing of individual items at 10,000 volts (special testing equipment)
  • separate injection moulding of the blade for the highest level of safety
  • blades made of high-alloy, consistent, hardened specialty steels
  • optimal protection against corrosion and an accurate fit with burnished screwdriver tips
  • 100% twist resistance in the handle
  • the extreme precision of the operating head
Material as requested – labelling in accordance with your specifications

The finished articles will be labelled in accordance with your specifications. There are assorted set s of all products. We will process various materials for any special use no matter whether it is injected by means of single or multi-component technology.

Below is a short excerpt from the list of plastics that we process:

Cellulose acetate (CA) is an impact-resistant plastic made of renewable raw materials. It is distinctive by virtue of its good level of resistance to harsh chemical substances and its high mechanical strength. It can be used at temperatures ranging from - 30°C to + 80°C. Cellulose acetate is available in transparent and opaque colours .

Polypropylene (PP) can be supplied in all opaque colours of the PANTONE catalogue. In contrast to CA (cellulose-acetate) the material is distinctive by virtue of its cost effectiveness and its specific weight, which is 25% lower. Polypropylene is completely recyclable and resistant to oil and petrol in spite of that.

Polyamide (PA) is a material that facilitates a tremendously tough, impact-resistant connection between the blade and the handle due to its 30 percent glass fibre content.

Antistatic PP is a modified polypropylene material that was developed specifically for work on electronic components and circuitry. It facilitates conduction of the electrostatic charge and thus provides safety for your devices.

A thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) is a special soft granulate in our multi-component tools. It improves the handle operation and the grip and thus makes handing it more comfortable.

All plastic items can be furnished with the label, EAN code, company logo or advertising slogan that you desire by means of a coloured printing pad or a hot embossing process . Plastics are dyed in conformity with the PANTONE catalogue. In that way you obtain a reliable, varied choice of colours.  Select your individual colour palette!

You can also put a durable laser marking on our plastic handles.
